"He smiled understandingly—much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood." -Fitzgerald
Today in the car you told me that you didn't think I would like Fitzgerald (you don't know me that well). Then I went to my buddy from colleges photo blog and she had this posted. Surprisingly (or maybe not so much) it reminds me of you and that in return makes me smile. I don't tell you enough, but I'm so grateful for you. Maybe one day I'll tell you more. Today made me realize how much you mean and that I hope you will always be my little spoon because I love you and you are the greatest best friend. period.
