The past two days I have encountered some special members of the opposite gender. They have enlightened me in the ways of men....ways which I hope and pray to never ever ever experience again.
Let us start out with yesterday.

After giving a kid I sit next to in class my number so we can study for our midterm together, he begins to text me. At first it was funny and nothing inappropriate was said. THEN out of the dark abyss of Hell comes these crude texts stocked full of sexual innuendos. Like the proper girl I am, I decline to reply to them, and choose to ignore his ignorance. Finally he stopped after I asked. And I told him that we were no longer going to studying together.

Then today while at work,
I came in and there was a random van out front, and was asked to have it towed. So I did. And the guy comes in around noon, asking if we towed it, we say yes, and he asks for the number of the towing place. As I go to grab the card and write down the number for him...feeling sorry that the poor lad didn't show up a hour earlier, he leans into whisper "Are those 100% real?" not sure what he is talking about I say "excuse me?" and he proceeds to stare at my chest and repeats "Are those 100% real?" I reply with "here is the number good luck with that one."

Guys are scum. I shall become a nun.

It is sad because while I live in a country where as a woman I do have rights, even here in Washington State, my future husband can legally rape me and there is nothing I nor the courts can do to punish him. If women in American get treated like this, imagine how bad it is for the women around the world.

I hope everyone understands a little bit better why I want to dedicate my life to the continuing of women's education in third world cities and countries. I hope that one day the playing field will be leveled and no long will my gender be subjected to persecutions. I hope.
